Abstract :
This paper analyses the oblique incidence reflectivity of a Salisbury screen where low frequency performance has been optimized using a non-Foster matching techniques. Negative inductance is employed in the analysis, which can provide broadband matching, where the absorber is electrically thin. Analytical expressions for the optimum inductance are given for TE and TM polarization and numerical simulations are given, which demonstrate the reflectivity performance for various angles of incidence. Designs optimized for normal incidence for spacers of different relative permittivities are presented.
