Abstract :
This paper present a numerical analysis for estimate of the sound pressure level of permanent-magnet synchronous machine. The main sound source is based on the vibrations of the stator core due to electromagnetic force. Using magnetic field model and acoustic model, the sound pressure level around the assembly of a device was calculated. The results show the validity of the numerical analysis by comparison with an experiment.
