  • Abstract
    In this paper, we discuss recent advancements in the use of orbital angular momentum for increasing channel capacity and spectral efficiency by spatially multiplexing multiple data channels. We also describe Tbit/s transmission results as well as basic demonstrations of switching and networking functions.
