Abstract :
We have developed a new backlight system that uses a laser diode for one of the light sources. This backlight system uses two kinds of light souce. One is a red laser diode and the other is a cyan LED. a laser and LEDs as the light source. The liquid crystal television display equipped with this particular backlight system has vivid colors that can be recognized at first glance.
