Abstract :
We propose and demonstrate a prototype wavelength selective switch (WSS), composed of a Bragg reflector waveguide dispersion element. Thanks to large angular-dispersion and dense-array integration of the Bragg reflector waveguide, the prototype WSS with 6-port operation can be scaled up for supporting over 100 ports operation, maintaining its compact size.
