Abstract :
Free-space laser communications (FSO) is influenced by scintillation and propagation loss increases as the propagation distance becomes longer. Therefore, the communication quality is degraded. In this paper, we examined the propagation characteristics when error correction which is used to improve the communication quality in wireless communication is brought in FSO. As a result, it was confirmed that the communication quality was improved.
