  • Abstract
A deployment of cooperative multiple sensors offers considerable enhancement of the automatic modulation classification (AMC) performances, particularly in multipath fading environment. However, the recent studies showed that potential performance gains reported under the idealized conditions are not straightforwardly achievable in real-world application. Through a comprehensive analysis of cooperative AMC solutions using cumulants under the realistic conditions and for the different dispersive fading channels, we here show that these huge performance gains are practically achievable if the appropriate channel estimation methods are applied.
