Abstract :
As the Smart Grid develops, demand response plays a vital role for both consumers and the utilities. Changes of load behaviour under the active market is analysed and how demand response smooths out fluctuations of distributed generation (DG) by adding transactive controller to appliances is shown. The performance of demand response is demonstrated, which contributes to gentle the instability of DGs and peak load shifting.
