  • Abstract
The output of wind farm is random and intermitted, thus, the interconnection of large-scale wind power may lead to new problem on SVS power system. This paper explores the impact of interconnection of large-scale wind power with the series compensation on the SVS of an actual power system. First, based on the collected data, the power system with large scale interconnection of wind power is constructed with the Powerfactory/DIgSILENT. And then, based on the SVS index, the impact of the interconnection of the large-scale power wind farm on SVS of system, considering difference percentage of series compensation in tie-lines and SVC reactive in the wind farm PCC, are analysed.
