  • Abstract
    — We have described a digital WDM LAN, where WDM has been applied to an optical network that uses pre-modulated clock signals as signal sources. — This concept allows for a) better SWAP efficiency for transmitters and b) decreased linearity for modulators and detectors. — Potential to merge sensing and transmission functions within the same network.
