Abstract :
Security on embedded systems is an increasing concern. A classification of attacks on embedded systems has been defined. Some attacks succeeded on an experimental real-time kernel: memory management, time management, inter-process communications and fault-tolerance mechanisms. This study confirms the efficiency of our approach: vulnerability analysis and countermeasure development early in the development process.
