Abstract :
In order to establish a forecasting model of grey numbers having a triangular whitenization weight function, a formula for degree of greyness of grey numbers with triangular whitenization weight function is proposed and its properties are studied. A new method which can forecast a grey number´s degree of greyness is also put forward. The kernel of grey numbers, degree of greyness of grey numbers and length of grey numbers are used to establish the forecasting model of grey numbers. The new method can reduce the new grey numbers´ degrees of greyness. Lastly, an application is presented to illustrate the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed model.
