Abstract :
Agents are autonomous, social, proactive, reactive, and communicate to achieve common goal. Developing framework for agents to support above mentioned characteristics is quite challenging. Outside the choice of right agent methodologies to support agent oriented development, there is a need for developing agent driven development framework to enable creation and functioning of agents. These framework needs to support asynchronous messaging using KQML or FIPA-ACL standards, state-based programming. Considering the complexity of the agent development the expressiveness of the design is critical in managing complexity. This paper aims at developing a design framework for agents, where agent design is modeled thru goal model. These models not just express design but also provide code generation in actual execution environment.
