Abstract :
In this study, a new modern bio-impactor with adjustable parameters was designed and constructed. A series of sampling were performed to validate our new device. The bacteria level in the indoor air of several sites was measured in this work by using simultaneously our new device and a commercial one. These measurements showed that the collection efficiency provided by our device is better than that of the commercial bio-impactor. The effect of the collection distance on the collection efficiency was studied as well.
