  • Abstract
This short paper looks at the current opportunity to integrate professionally mature health and safety into Building Information Management/Modelling (BIM) and Cloud technology. It argues that while the Cloud can be used to facilitate effective BIM, health and safety needs to be dealt with in a much more integrated fashion than is currently being considered by the building and construction sector. It suggests that there needs to be a more obvious divide between strategic decisions and detailed design. Clarity is the theme throughout, requiring high quality, relevant team communication in a timely manner.
