Abstract
A method to give a prospect of controller design for a vibration suppression control of driving force of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle is proposed. This method is applicable to design a controller mathematically and systematically by applying a concept of a reduced order plant model and using a computer algebra system. Furthermore, based on this method, a new concept of vibration suppression control of a multiple driving sources system is proposed by extending a conventional concept of a single input system. The proposed concept enables driving force of a multiple driving sources system to suppress vibration of drive shafts and the vehicle pitch.
