Abstract
This paper proposes a method to determine sleep stage by non-biding sensor. The importance of managing quality of sleep increases in modern society. The good sleep reduces stress and enhanced advance of health and so on. However, existing sensors to determine sleep stage is not useful in standard civilian life, because it need to attach some kind of pole or device to user´s body. Therefore, we proposed using Doppler sensor. The sensor forces fewer burdens to user and is suitable for daily use. First, we investigate basic performance of Doppler sensor to measure respiration count. Second, we experiment accuracy of our method that determines sleep stage from the respiration count.
