Abstract :
The AMBE codec and G.729 codec are two separate representative low-rate speech coding algorithms among the current speech coding research. In this paper, the low-rate speech codec conversion system between AMBE and G.729 is designed based on S3C2,,0. The system is divided into four modules: the AMBE module, the G.729 module, the processor module and the network transmission module. The conversion of the AMBE format and the PCM format is achieved by the AMBE module, and the conversion of the G.729 format and the PCM format is achieved by the G.729 module, we confirmed that our design can satisfy the real-time requirements.
