Abstract :
Clustering is a very special property of social network. Understanding the network cluster structure is of great important, which provides helpful information in developing more social-aware strategies for social network problems. The paper tries to analyse the topology and the clusters for a localized social network in SINA Weibo and try to find whether they have small world properties. The data set used is composed by 4499 SINA Weibo´s users from University of Shanghai. The open source software Gephi is used in the analysis of the data. The layout OpenOrd reveals the clusters in the network. The topology shows that the network and the clusters have the small-world property. Furthermore, the paper visualizes the small world phenomenon for the whole network and for clusters with Layered Layout in Gephi.
