Abstract
Open Source software components used in software, e.g. in a smart meter, might raise requirements that are not easy to be met, if at all. Assessing these requirements can be a complicated task. In this article, a matrix is suggested that helps in disclosing such requirements and assists the communication between developers and/or software architect and legal professionals.
