Abstract :
Aiming at some problems of usual survey levitating balloons with theodolite to estimate outline of wind, which leads to low measurement accuracy, program complexity, greater risk factor of people, a dropsonde wind measurement system is developed. Dropsonde wind measurement system consists of dropsonde wind measurement, wireless communication modules, control and display terminal and so on. Dropsonde wind measurement can collect and store the data of wind in airhead transmitting to control and display terminal. Control and display terminal placed on the ground or board on the situation, figures up continuous wind models and atmospheric environmental models according to the received data. This system is more convenience and shortcut. It can measure the wind on the ground without people, and improve the accuracy of air drop and parachuting.
