Abstract :
A coaxial pulse probe is designed and tested. The probe with different monopole is simulated and compared, and the experiment on the coaxial pulse probe with spiry monopole is carried out. The simulation and the experimental results indicate that the probe with spiry monopole could be used in the measurement of electromagnetic pulse (EMP) with rising time of nanosecond. Finally, to integrate the differential coupling output signal of the coaxial pulse probe, a novel coaxial passive integrator is proposed and simulated.
