Abstract :
Ground based SAR system has many applications in ground structures monitoring. Normally, the radar system is constructed by linear frequency modulation. Pseudo-random code has the properties that its autocorrelation function has sharp peak like noise. In this paper, a new ground based SAR system based on code phase modulation is proposed, and the constructive diagram of ground based pseudo random code SAR system is given. Based on time parallel correlation, the range compression is performed and the azimuth compression is discussed. The simulation results show the efficiency of the algorithm of image forming.
