Abstract :
LTE-A downlink system can support up to 8 transmitting antennas and 8 receiving antennas. In order to restore the received signals accurately, a good channel estimation algorithm is needed. This paper mainly introduces the channel estimation algorithm and the related simulation comparison by Matlab. The result indicates that this algorithm has similar performance with the case of 4 transmitting antennas and 4 receiving antennas, therefore, it proves the feasibility of this algorithm.
