Abstract :
Introduction of advanced technologies into library could improve the level of library service. RSS technology could disseminate and aggregate information easily with the characters of instantaneity, operability, interactivity and personality. In this paper we discuss the features of RSS as well as the present state of library service, and then we focus on the usages of RSS technology in library to upgrade the standard of individual information service in six specific aspects.
