  • Abstract
    As a new kind of liquid biochip, Photonic crystal (PC) encoded beads chip utilizes the structure color of PC and the fluorescence label to encode and detect biomolecules respectively. In this paper, the mechanism and the optical structure of the detection instrument for PC encoded beads chip are described. Then the mathematical morphology algorithm and Otsu method is used to enhance the image quality followed by beads identification with statistical identification algorithm, which lay the basis for quantification analysis of the beads chip.
