Abstract :
AGPS (assisted global positioning system) positioning method was researched with fuzzy theory in this paper. Positioning errors were found through the analysis of an AGPS positioning algorithm with mobile station (MS) clock error. These errors were engendered to induce a bias of reference moment. The fuzzy number of whole chips can be determined by a satellite´s maximum angle of elevation from the base station (BS), and the positioning error of several hundred kilometers can be eliminated. This method improved AGPS positioning method availability.
