  • Abstract
Image segmentation is the foundation of image understanding, and the results of segmentation directly affect the subsequent processing. In the recently twenty years, Image segmentation based on snake model attracts more attention of researchers. This paper proposes the improved gradient vector flow method, having the good effect on the thin and deep concave region especially. And this method is very useful for pedestrian image segmentation.
