On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Sixth International Conference on Advanced Computational Intelligence (ICACI2013), we welcome you to attend this event taking place in Hangzhou, China during October 19–21, 2013, as a sequence to IWACI2008 (Macao), IWACI2009 (Mexico City), IWACI2010 (Suzhou), IWACI2011 (Wuhan), and ICACI2012 (Nanjing). As the capital of Zhejiang province in southeast China, Hangzhou has been one of the most renowned and prosperous cities in China for more than 1000 years. With abundant historic relics, enchanting natural beauty, and rich cultural heritages, Hangzhou is known as a “Heaven on Earth”. The West Lake, as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of China´s most popular and beautiful sights.
