Abstract
Spectrum sensing technology is the key problem in the cognitive radio system. The primary user emulation (PUE) attacks in physical layer and the shadow of wireless channel is the main factor effect the performance of spectrum sensing. Here we propose a decision-making algorithm of cooperative spectrum sensing based on weighted Dempster-Shafer (D-S) evidence theory. The weight is concerned with the relationship between energy and location. MATLAB simulation results show that the proposed D-S algorithm has better detection performance than the SNR-weighted, AND and OR decision-making algorithm, and can effectively combat the shadow effect and PUE attacks.
