Abstract :
A user scheduling algorithm based on beam selection in the multi-basestation cooperation system is proposed. The spatial diversity gain is obtained by using beam vector selection in the multi-basestation cooperation system. Each basestation has multiple sets of beam vectors. By selecting the beam vector groups and corresponding users that maximize the system throughput, the spatial diversity gain as well as the user diversity gain can be obtained.
