Abstract :
Starting from a well known algorithm of cubic spline interpolation utilized in image processing it was developed a new one that utilize B-spline functions and their derivatives. The new algorithm is implemented on a system with digital signal processor. There are presented some issues and limitations that appear when using a digital signal processor. The main goal is to verify if the new algorithm is running in real-time signal processing.
