Abstract :
To solve the problem of the weak starting torque of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), a new fast start-up control method based on the principle of the incremental photoelectric encoder and space vector control method is proposed. Exerting the voltage source to the stator in a special position and maintaining the relative angle between the position and the rotor as a constant can solve the problem of the weak start-up torque of PMSM. This PMSM start-up control system was implemented by MB91580 as core. The experiment results showed that method could be able to achieve the PMSM start successfully and quickly.
