  • Abstract
    In this paper, the packet error rate (PER) of the ZigBee under the interference of wireless local area network (WLAN) and multiple Bluetooth networks is analyzed. A new model for coexistence issue among ZigBee, WLAN, and multiple Bluetooth piconets is used. This paper presents a modified numerical method for the analysis of the performance of ZigBee under WLAN and multiple Bluetooth piconets interferences. The closed-form expressions of the collision time between two independent systems is modified. PER is derived from the bit error rate (BER) and the collision time. Finally, the numerical method is justified by simulation.
