Abstract :
Distributed-based management has a very important significance for the system security of the wireless sensor network, so a good key management scheme is needful. In order to tackle the problems of poor resilience against node capture and high storage overhead adhering to the existing wireless sensor networks, taking advantage the superiority of group-based model and OKS protocol, a new scheme which we can call G-OKS (Group-Overlap-Key-Sharing) scheme is proposed. Within this paper, we introduce three typical sensor network schemes: Overlap-Key-Sharing (OKS) scheme, Group-based scheme and Eschenhaur-Gligor (E-G) for distributed-key-based scheme. Compared with E-G key management scheme, G-OKS key management scheme has the better resilience against node capture at the same connectivity rate. Also, the new management scheme reduces the storage overhead at the same connectivity rate compared to E-G scheme. In this paper we introduce the G-OKS scheme and its performance evaluation.
