Abstract :
The rapid increment of the population and the consummation of energy in the world as well as the depletion of fossil resources generated a significant increment in the prices of natural resources such as petrol and natural gaz. This elevation led to the use of hybrid electrical systems. The use of these multi sources systems progressed a lot in different industrial sectors. Between all sources of energy that we have, the batteries and renewable sources of energy such as photovoltaic and wind contain the highest specified energy. In contrast to fossil energy, renewable energy must be harvested when it is available, and to maintain a balance between production and consumption, some sort of energy storage is needed or at least of value. This paper presents a study of an electrical hybrid system using two important renewable energies: solar and wind energies, and investigates a control strategy using fuzzy logic to ensure and manage, in an adequate and automated way, the flow of energy in the system and the two storage devices used: batteries and super capacitors.
