Abstract :
In VANET networks, V2I communication is a way of making better useshared resources and leverages services provided through access RSU (Road Side Units) deployed on roadsides, This mode is inadequate applications related to road safety because the network infrastructure are not performing as to delivery times. MPLS is heavily taxed proving the most appropriate solution for migrating to converged networks that are designed to use a single network for all services requested combining the flexibility of routing plan of layer 3 and the power of the layer 2 switching. However, this basic switching technology, does not escape to the congestion due to an unbalanced load distribution in the transport network. To optimize the use of transmission resources, MPLS mustcomplemented by effective traffic engineering. The need to ensure quality of service in MPLS networks based on traffic engineering that will route the data in the network based on the availability of resources, and qualityservice, which will allow routing faster packets in the network. In this article we analyze and quantify the contribution of MPLS as the transfer method supplemented by the protection mechanisms usedpipes and backbone roadside to improve the resilience of RSUs.
