Abstract :
This paper reports an on-going research effort that is part of a PLM project at EDF, a french electricity utility and a renewable energy and nuclear power plants architect and lead-contractor. The goal of this effort is to achieve interoperability with external information systems. The ISO 15926 standard is identified as a suitable data model. However, modeling concepts are ambiguous and a robust implementation methodology is still missing. By converting the semantics of an existing business model into the ISO 15926 standard, a Reference data library for the nuclear industry is created.
