Abstract :
Morupula B Power Station in Botswana is to be operational by August 2013. This paper demonstrates various aspects of voltage stability through simulation examples on the Botswana power system. The study includes the effects of load shedding, shunt compensation, loss of line, loss of generation, load increases and three phase faults.
