Abstract :
In this paper, we present asymptotic performance analysis of orthogonal space-time block codes (STBCs) in general correlated keyhole multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels. Different from other research, we focus on the general correlated keyhole channels, a moment-generation-function (MGF) based approach is used to derive asymptotic closed-form expression of the average symbol error rate (SER), based on which one can easily quantify the diversity gain and coding gain of the considered system. Simulation results are provided to validate our analytical results.
