Abstract :
This paper presents a design and experimental study of humanoid robot interaction with mobile phone. NAO is a humanoid robot, which offers a lot of figures for the researchers. However, NAO needs to communicate with the outside world, not only the human, but also the rest e.g. mobile phone and so on. In this paper, controlling the NAO robot using mobile phone is a good case in communicating with NAO. We utilize the CGI communication method between mobile phone and NAO robot. Since the humanoid robot only has two ways to access on PC, one is FTP and another is ssh, it seems necessary to make it work in a more friendly way with the mobile phone. Moreover, the CGI communication method utilized in this case could be easily applied for NAO´s communication with other facilities. Hence the human robot will work in a more anthropomorphic way.
