Abstract :
The silhouette is a good way to express human area and the motion information. This paper describes a method of human detection based on human´s silhouette, the main content is that to create the shape vector of the moving object firstly, then to classify the human from other objects using the codebook designed. The experiments showed that this method could produce good results.
