Abstract :
IPTV systems are widely deployed worldwide nowadays. With the widespread use of P2P networks, the efficiency of the IPTV system is increasing gradually. The decrease of server resource consumption speeds up the deployment of IPTV system. But the enhancement of user experience didn´t increase so fast as the system deployment. The channel switch delay in live streaming and data sharing rate on embedded VOD system is not so satisfactory. In this paper, we borrowed the idea of user behavior targeting in marketing, proposed a new idea of user-oriented and content-oriented approach for the P2P IPTV system. This new approach is proved to be effective after testing in a real IPTV system.
