Abstract :
In this paper a fuzzy logic based SVC auxiliary controller is designed for damping the low frequency oscillations. The global variables taken are the deviation in generator speed and reactive power. The robustness and effectiveness of fuzzy controller is checked on an integrated multimachine system with severe fault conditions and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of SVC Auxiliary Controller for damping low frequency oscillations.
