Evaluation of MBEWCM: A mobile based educational web content miner

MBEWCM is a mobile based educational web content miner that extracts the age appropriate educational content from the web. MBEWCM implements the concept of redirection (redirecting the interest of the kid towards the educational aspect of the query) using sieve coupons. Detailed evaluation of the MBEWCM was done to test if the system is acceptable to the user or not. The population of the evaluation was students, teachers and parents of various schools of Faridabad. It was an experimental study in which the participants were given the system (MBEWCM) for evaluation and then a questionnaire related to the system was asked to fill, depending upon their experience with the system. The system was evaluated on the basis of various parameters like relevance of content, quality, security and presentation of content. The evaluation revealed that MBEWCM gives much better results as compared to any other search engine and is acceptable to the participants.
