Abstract
We present rare-earth monopnictide alloys as tunable mid-infrared epitaxial semimetals for plasmonics. The La1-xLuxAs system combines high carrier concentrations, epitaxial compatibility with many III-V substrates, and tunable plasma reflection edge throughout much of the mid-infrared.
