Abstract
The paper presents a transmitted-reference UWB cooperative communication model. Based on the sampling expansion approach, a closed-form SER formulation was deduced for the Delay-Hopped Transmitted-Reference Ultra-Wideband systems which using cooperation strategy of amplify and forward relaying, equal-gain-combining. Simulation results show that the cooperative communication system gains five order diversity under the condition of optimum integration interval. The effect of time bandwidth product, numbers of impulse and instantaneous received SNR on the system SER performance was also discussed.
