Abstract :
This paper attempts to adapt WebQuest mode into the English writing teaching. By an empirical research into a class of 47 students studying tourism management since the year 2010 in the faculty of tourism and airline service of an institute of higher vocational education in China, this paper finds that WebQuest mode of English writing teaching is generally accepted by students and this mode exerts positive effects on the arousing of students´ English studying motivation and interest, on the increase of their reading and writing amount and on the improvement of their comprehensive ability on the whole and English applied ability in particular.
