Abstract :
With the rapid development of motorized transportation, intelligent transportation systems have become increasingly important. Intelligent video surveillance system, as an important part of intelligent transportation subsystem, usually used in some important transportation regional, monitoring a certain period through a fixed camera. It is with great importance to achieve detection and real-time tracking of vehicles in video sequence. This paper focuses on studying the methods of the moving vehicles detection and tracking in traffic scene, considering the impact of shadow in video image, illumination changes and vehicles partially occluded.
