Abstract :
With the rapid development of wind power, wind turbine condition monitoring and fault diagnosis must match the developing rate. The growing number of wind turbine makes all kinds of condition monitoring must be achieved online. In this paper, the fault of gearbox in wind turbine is researched deeply, based on electromagnetic field theory, propose a method to measure gear box oil composition. It provides an online method to monitor the wind turbine gearbox oil. This paper analyzes the principle of the method, sets up the equivalent circuit model and makes a detailed mathematical derivation of argument, then according to the simulation in Mat lab, we verify the feasibility of this method. This method can realize monitoring gearbox oil composition, the real-time status of mechanical wear can be get on line, then indirectly found that various types of early failure of the gearbox. Successfully getting such warning signals early, relative staff can be effectively guided in the equipment maintenance arrangements before serious wear and failure happen. This will reduce equipment damage, reduce the impact of downtime production, at the same time increase the average time between failures of equipment, then result in the productivity improvement.
